THEY SAID ABOUT US

  • I have no words to describe how much it helps me being in the Autism Center. I finally found a person who understands me and not only that; I feel there that i can calm down and become happy again. The presence of Mrs Kokkalidou energizes me. Her knowledge and experience, as well as the whole atmosphere there, inspire me deeply. Thank you very much!

New ways to teach him communication skils, or ideas to play with him. Every time we go home with new knowlegde concerning autism, and that helps me to see our problems in a different, more optimistic light.

  • We have been visiting the Autism Center for several months now. My son is 8 years-old and races up the stairs every time we get there. Just seeing his smile and satisfaction is enough for me to know that this is a place where vital work happens, help is given that Thodoris desperately needs. All these years of visiting a variety of therapists he has never shown such joy.

  • The meeting with the child psychologist Marijke Steeman gave a developmental push to our son. From the first contact on, he responded so well to her approach KALESMA and showed incredible results. Her long experience and therapeutical approach helped us to understand the mystery of autism better and to teach us properly.  Our son, 3,5 years old, uttered words for the first time and that made us face the future optimistically! We thank her for the dedication and love that she continues to show our family.
  • Our meetings happen only online, because of the distance between us and because of the pandemia. Mrs Kokkalidou has seen my child only on the screen. Despite that, she helps me so much. just talking with her, with the listening ear she gives me, understanding fully my situation, giving me advice about how to coop with my child on a daily basis, gives me so much comfort and relief. No other therapist has ever occupied himself with me in such a constructive way.

  • The last 3 months, therapeutic play has helped me to be more optimistic about my son's development. Now, i can understand the difficulties, that my son be confronted with and the advices of the team helps me manage them. The most important, is that my son expresses his feelings and this thoughts.
