Three factors

A child's development depends on three factors:

1) THE CHILD'S POTENTIAL This gets underrated very often. The child can have abilities that are never shown, since no one expect them.
2) PARENTS' INVOLVEMENT It is desirable that parents play with their child without the intention of teaching it anything, but merely for the joy of it. That's why i mean "play" as the child understands it. Many a time that can prove difficult for the parents, for various reasons. However, involvement can also mean the application of learnt techniques in everyday life to reach certain goals. At home there are innumerable chances to practice. In any case, whatever the child learns is for their life in general and not only for the playroom. This is the role that parents must play, to ask of the child that which can be given, always without pressure!
3) OUR OWN INTERVENTION Our treatment is for the child with which we play therapeutically/curatively(?) so as to help it become more reciprocal and communicate more effectively. That said, 70% of our intervention is towards the parents, so that they can become effective in every interaction with their child.
